Risk prevention in the workplace

In order to be able to offer the safest possible working environment to our staff and sub-contractors, Construcciones Rico, S.A. has developed a corporate policy on Risk Prevention inn the Workplace in accordance with the requirements set out in our Sistema Integrado de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (Integrated System of Health and Safety in the Workplace), certified by AENOR to the ISO 45001 standard and the current regulations applied to risk prevention in the workplace

¿What does ISO 45001 standard mean to our activities?

  • It improves monitoring of compliance to legal requirements and norms that are relevant to the prevention of risk prevention in the workplace.
  • Involvement of the entire workforce in the management of risk prevention including those at the highest levels of the organisation.
  • A commitment to adequately manage workplace health and safety with the objective of preventing injury to our own staff, as well as subcontractors and others who may need access to workplaces.
  • Our risk prevention policy is a fully integrated element of our management approach at all levels and impacts on all our activities. Strategically, it is orientated to raising the awareness of staff and their on-going training as part of our overall system of risk prevention in the workplace.

As a result of this integration, Construcciones Rico S.A has improved accident rates year after year, pursuing the objective of “zero accidents” and has benefited from the BONUS incentive that it presents annually to the General Directorate of Social Security Regulation.
