In order to be able to offer the safest possible working environment to our staff and sub-contractors, Construcciones Rico, S.A. has developed a corporate policy on Risk Prevention inn the Workplace in accordance with the requirements set out in our Sistema Integrado de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (Integrated System of Health and Safety in the Workplace), certified by AENOR to the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard and the current regulations applied to risk prevention in the workplace.
¿What does OHSAS 18001 mean to our activities?
- It improves monitoring of compliance to legal requirements and norms that are relevant to the prevention of risk prevention in the workplace.
- Involvement of the entire workforce in the management of risk prevention including those at the highest levels of the organisation.
- A commitment to adequately manage workplace health and safety with the objective of preventing injury to our own staff, as well as subcontractors and others who may need access to workplaces.
- Our risk prevention policy is a fully integrated element of our management approach at all levels and impacts on all our activities. Strategically, it is orientated to raising the awareness of staff and their on-going training as part of our overall system of risk prevention in the workplace.
