Work involved the complete construction of a building destined for use by the local Council. The structure of the building was of reinforced concrete with metal supports in prefabricated joists and block work of vibrated concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme of works included six inch thick exterior walls, air chambers, partitioning and external stonework, plus a gabled roof of mixed ceramic slates. In addition, the programme of work included general building work such as plastering and rendering, paving and flooring, tiling, carpentry and joinery, electrical fittings, plumbing and sanitary fittings and air conditioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
