Work consisted of the urbanisation of land in Sector U.E.-108 “La Perlita” of the municipal district of Arganda del Rey (Madrid) in order to install the services and infrastructure needed to support the construction of residential homes.

Those aspects of the Project dealing with drainage and sanitation were particularly complex, involving the placement of a staggered waste collection system with a diameter ranging from 1,200 mm to 1,000 mm with a maximum depth of 12 metres. It was necessary to carry out several preliminary excavations to arrive at a depth of 9 metres from which level it was possible to establish a trench to complete the work. Given the steep 12% angle of some parts of the road system and the 3% incline of the sanitation collection system, it was necessary to put in place special drainage wells.
